The local Health Ministry in Chile has just updated the travel restrictions to enter the country, announcing that non-resident foreigners who have a Mobility Pass will be able to enter the country as of October 1.
Entry restrictions:
Non-resident foreigners who do not have a Mobility Pass will not be able to enter the country. Only Chilean nationals, foreign residents and non-resident foreigners who have a Mobility Pass will be able to enter the country through any border crossing.
To obtain a Mobility Pass, non-resident foreigners must validate their vaccinations through this website. The vaccination validation may take up to a month to complete.
Foreigners with a valid Mobility Pass may only enter the country through the airports in Antofagasta, Iquique and Santiago, the main entry gate to Chile.
Before entering, travelers must complete a sworn statement health form, have a negative PCR test and purchase travel medical insurance.
